Instructions for Use

Installing bits:

  • Unplug the router
  • Remove the red ring from the table
  • Raise the router till you have access to the nut
  • Place the router bit in the collet. Ensure the cutting edge of the bit does not touch to top of the nut.
  • Use the pair of wrenches to tighten the nut. Keep the lower wrench on the shaft still, and rotate the upper wrench on the nut counter-clockwise.

Ring size:

  • Use the largest one possible for optimal vacuum suction, but it should be small enough so your workpiece won’t fall in.

Adjusting height:

  • There are two hex-shaped openings in the table - one is for the height adjustment, and the other is for locking the height in its current position
  • Use the long allen wrench to unlock it, then adjust the height accordingly
  • CAUTION: If you feel resistance, DON’T FORCE IT. It should move freely, so re-check what you are doing or ask for help if it does not.

Adjusting Speed:

  • On the router inside the cabinet there is a small wheel with numbers.
  • Move the wheel to the left to increase the speed, right to decrease the speed.

Removing bits:

  • Unplug the router
  • Remove the red ring from the table
  • Raise the router till you have access to the nut
  • Use the pair of wrenches to loosen the nut. Keep the lower wrench on the shaft still, and rotate the upper wrench on the nut clockwise.
  • When the nut first loosens, continue rotating it until it starts to feel tight. Keep rotating and it will loosen again and fully release the bit.

Dust Collection:

  • Open the gate for the dust collection.
  • Turn on the dust collector.

Power:

  • Plug in the machine.
  • Press the green “Start” button on the front to turn it on.

Common Courtesy:

  • Press the red “Stop” switch to make sure the router is off.
  • Clean up any dust or debris on the table and inside the cabinet.
  • Remove router bit and collet.
  • Clean any dust out of the collet, and wipe the area the collet sits in the router with a dry cloth.
  • Leave the router raised so it is ready for the next person to set up.

  • Collet: has a self-locking feature for one-hand tightening/loosening
  • Common Courtesy: Clean up, remove router bit, leave router raised

Tooling
