Manual and Guides

Use and Cleanup

  1. Use the right blade for your job. A thicker blade (1/2" or larger) is best for straight cuts in thick material. A thinner blade (around 1/4" or smaller) is better for curved cuts in thin material.
  2. Adjust the blade guard to slightly above the material you will be cutting.
  3. Clean up when you are done. Use a handbroom or vacuum to clean the table, underneath the table, and the lower compartment where dust really collects.
  4. Lower the blade guard when you are done. This is for safety - less exposed blade means less risk to people in the shop.
