We have two Rikon bandsaws.
The Blue one is a 10-326. It is equipped with a large blade, typically 5/8", and intended for making straight cuts.
The Green one is a 10-325. It is equipped with a small blade, typically 1/4", and is able to do straight or curved cuts.
Details on both Rikon bandsaws:
- Blade length: 111"
- Blade width: 3/16” - 3/4” (4.78 - 19 mm)
- Maximum Cutting Width (throat): 13-5/8” (346 mm)
- Maximum Cutting Depth (height): 13” (330 mm)

Use and Cleanup
- Use the right blade for your job. A thicker blade (1/2" or larger) is best for straight cuts in thick material. A thinner blade (around 1/4" or smaller) is better for curved cuts in thin material.
- Adjust the blade guard to slightly above the material you will be cutting.
- Clean up when you are done. Use a handbroom or vacuum to clean the table, underneath the table, and the lower compartment where dust really collects.
- Lower the blade guard when you are done. This is for safety - less exposed blade means less risk to people in the shop.
